Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of the Ecom SEO AEO Shopify app and website. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms.
The service
Ecom SEO AEO analyzes available store and catalog information, presents SEO and answer-readiness findings, and lets authorized merchants review and submit supported metadata changes. Features and available Shopify permissions may change as the service develops.
Merchant responsibility
The merchant is responsible for the accuracy, legality, and suitability of store content and for reviewing proposed changes before applying them. The merchant must maintain an authorized Shopify account and comply with Shopify's terms and applicable law.
No outcome guarantees
Search engines and answer systems control crawling, indexing, ranking, display, and citations. The service does not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, indexing, inclusion in an AI response, or citation by any provider.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to publish deceptive or unlawful content, introduce facts that are not supported by the store, interfere with the service, access another merchant's data, or attempt to bypass security or Shopify permissions.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service for security, legal, operational, or platform reasons. We will use reasonable care in operating the service, but it is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Third-party platforms
The service depends on Shopify and Cloudflare. Their services, policies, outages, and platform changes are outside our control. References to SEO or answer systems do not imply endorsement by those providers.
Termination
The merchant may stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms.
