Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ecom SEO AEO processes information when a merchant installs or uses the Shopify app, visits this website, or contacts support.
Information we process
When the app is installed, we process the Shopify shop identifier, installation and access details, app settings, and the store data needed for the features the merchant uses. This can include product and content metadata, storefront URLs, scan findings, approved changes, and rollback history. Support messages include the information the sender chooses to provide.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate the store, run requested scans, display findings, prepare and apply merchant-approved changes, provide rollback history, maintain security, troubleshoot the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell merchant data.
Shopify and infrastructure providers
Shopify processes information as part of app installation, authentication, and API access. Cloudflare provides application hosting and database infrastructure. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Data retention and deletion
We retain app data while it is needed to provide the service, maintain change history, comply with legal obligations, or resolve security and support matters. When Shopify sends a valid uninstall or mandatory data request, we process it under Shopify's requirements and delete or de-identify data that no longer needs to be retained.
Security
We use access controls and transport security intended to protect stored and transmitted information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Merchants control whether recommended changes are applied and can uninstall the app from Shopify Admin. To ask about access, correction, export, or deletion of information associated with a store, contact us and identify the relevant myshopify.com domain.
